| Tinctures |
 |
 |
Tinctures - [Latin tingere - to tinge, to colour] - are fluid (water, alcohol, ether, wine or vinegar) extracts or extract solutions of plants or drugs.
Aromatica tinctures are usually derived from maceration of fresh or dry plants in a solution of water and ethanol. They are very effective as herbal drops that can be taken alone or as a drink or food supplement.
They are used in cosmetics (shampoos, baths, soaps etc). They have a virtually perpetual shelf life.
All tinctures are packed in small 20 ml bottles. |
