BENEFITS: It acts extremely anti-inflammatory, soothes the skin, works against pain, calms the cramps and also it is the insect repellent. Because of lipolytic action, it is a common ingredient in cellulitis treatment compositions, and because of its analgesic, anti-inflammatory and mild spasmolyticity it is unnecessary ingredient in arthritis and arthrosis therapies. Also it is used in mixes for painful and stiff muscles. It is also excellent repellent and commercially source of citridiol, a component of high-repelling activity. For skin fungal infections it is effective up to 5% of the oil in the mixture in some vegetable oil. This essential oil is safe to use. Unlike many aldehyde oils, it is relatively non irritating to the skin. Not recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers and children under the age of 12.
