USES AND BENEFITS: Ribwort plantain is used in cataracts on upper respiratory tract and in inflammation in the mouth and throat. It is used externally for mild inflammatory changes in the skin. In alternative medicine is used to stop bleeding, sores, black spots and burns. Not recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers and children under the age of 12
PREPARATION AND DOSAGE: 1.4 – 3 g (2 to 4 teaspoons) of chopped plants pour into 150 ml (1 cup) boiling water, leave to stand for 10 minutes and then drain. Drink one cup 3-4 times a day of tea. In outer use, to prepare the the same amount of the plant overflow with 150 ml of cold water and allow it to stand 1-2 hours with frequent stirring and then drain. Daily dose: 3 – 6 g
